“Alright so here we are in front of the elephants, and the cool thing about these guys is that they have really, really really long trunks. And that’s cool! And that’s pretty much all I have to say.”
What you’re reading here is not the beginning of a book about animals, no elephant documentary – NO, you’re reading the lines, which are spoken in the first YouTube-clip ever! If one had only known then what was set in a motion!
Since we last talked about updates, a little while has passed. But that does definitely not mean we haven’t been working hard. Quite the contrary – we worked indeed VERY hard. For those of you who aren’t really interested in details, we’re going to start immediately with the list of changings we have done 🙂
Product reviews, restaurant reviews, feedbacks – reviews that aim at giving an opinion are in fashion. alugha also joins in and shoots a high-end video review on Outfittery for the first time. Of course multilingual.
Outfittery is a German online company where men get free style advice and can subsequently purchase a box with a perfectly balanced outfit.
When it comes to updates, you haven’t heard from us in quite some time. The reason for that is not that we don’t have anything to report. No, the reason is rather that we will roll out a major update for you very soon. It is so big that it even makes us go all dewy-eyed :).
While we are working with the core team on the big update, every week numerous improvements make it into the live system in our deployment rhythms. In addition to the mobile view of virtually every page of alugha, the performance was also (in some cases significantly) improved. When it comes to languages, we currently also step on the gas: thanks to our newcomer Jonas (we will introduce him in detail), we really caught up on the languages Spanish and French, and a lot of the interface is finally available in those languages. But that is only the beginning because soon EVERYTHING on alugha will be multilingual in German, English, Spanish and French.
Briefly introduce yourself: Who are you and what do you do?
My name is Tobias, I am 17 years old and I am from Walldorf near Frankfurt on the Main. I am still going to school and I am currently doing a three-week student internship at alugha.
Which three keywords best describe you?
Quiet, funny, gamer.
Exactly half a year ago, I started working as a working student at alugha in the fields of social media and online editorial. Since my job interview with a difference, a lot of things happened. Find out here, what exactly that was. I’ll give you an insight into my time at alugha and I can already say this much: among other things, it’s about catchy songs, flapper girls, rock musicians, football table duels and of course multilingualism 🙂
Since a few weeks, we have musical support aboard! The rebels of the online music magazine Klangrevolution will go to the awareness fight with the alugha crew 🙂 Together, we started a revolution – a multilingual sound revolution to be exact. Since September, regular reports on musicians with songs in different languages and multilingual film music have been posted on the Klangrevolution!
